About Us
NOTE: MSA Program application deadline extended to March 24th
The Center for Outreach and Community Involvement (COCI) coordinates initiatives and programs in partnership with local and regional school districts, businesses, and organizations relating to college recruitment, retention, and equity and diversity issues. These programs help to create a college-going culture and seek to empower students through the realization that a college education is completely within the realm of possibility.
Programs and Initiatives
COCI coordinates educational outreach programs, the Multicultural Scholastic Award Program, G-Force and the Go Center campaign, Champions of Equity and Diversity, Campus Visits, and college enrollment workshops. Programs target students in grades K-10 and provide motivation, encouragement and information needed to matriculate successfully through high school and on to post-secondary education.
